So now I'm having this issue. I can't even view my Apple ID screen because a blank pop-up appears with partial text. Tried ESC, force-quitting, restarting. Happens everytime. I can no longer access any system prefs, not even the main screen. It automatically goes to this frozen pop-up screen.
It's looking more and more that Monterey is the worst OS ever released.

Try booting to Safe Mode. That boot up takes minutes and clears caches and other things that may resolve your problem.

A lot of times just boot to Safe Mode followed by normal boot resolves problems.
Also maybe update to 12.1 which was released today.
Thank you for the reply. I've actually been safe booting daily since installing Monterey, to try to zero in on some other issues. Discovered yesterday that Grammarly desktop app was the cause of all the issues. I'm wondering if it may have been the culprit here as well. So far, so good.
