Is it possible to get a .iso iOS file from Apple?

I am in the technical field and the .iso file that I found isn't working for my virtual machine. I use Oracle VM Virtual Box and have a few VM's already on it using Linux but am trying to be well rounded is using different operating systems. Is it possible to obtain a working .iso file from Apple?

Apple does not provide ISO files.


Also unless you are running VirtualBox on your Mac, you are not allowed to run macOS in a virtual machine, and most virtual machine software makers will enforce that rule (as Apple has lots of lawyers 😀 ).


On a Mac, most virtual machines will accept installing a macOS version by just pointing at the "Install macOS <name>".app file.
