Three Things...
A. Was this Purchased from Apple?:
The only way an iPhone can be hacked is if it has been jailbroken. I'm not so certain you can look into this in any manor. If purchased form Apple, then no worries there, and all is safe.
B. Modify your Credentials:
Having so much concern, consider modifying your credentials, ASAP, starting with a new password.

C. Verify the Device:

Pragmatically, you cannot.
Malware does what it can to avoid presenting such evidence to the user.
In practice, it’s very rare for folks to be hacked.
When there have been reports of hacks—reports on NSO Pegasus over the years, for instance—coverage is widespread.
You might be at higher risk of hacks if you are an investigative journalist, a political dissident, with access to classified or sensitive information, or other such. If so, do get help with your security.
Most likely though, your own password choices or phishing or other such efforts will be your own security downfall, not a recently-patched iPhone.

There are a variety of security fixes identified and fixed in iOS and iPadOS 15.2. As with all such reports, Apple does not list details of the vulnerabilities and seldom mentions any associated exploits, but pretty much every update these days does have security fixes.
