Apple gift cards

Has anyone else purchased Apple gift cards only to find they can't be redeemed and after notifying Apple of the issue and being asked to send snapshots of the cards, and told the cards had been activated and hadn't been redeemed and after several weeks of nothing being done to resolve the issue then informed the cards had been redeemed and nothing can be done. I originally called on 11/20 and reported the issue at which time all money was on cards...$500 each card. On 12/03... poof!

..money was gone and they refuse any information as to who used the card or even what was purchased. They are the only ones I gave card information to...figure that one out. Maybe need to look a little deeper at who the real scammers are. Double the profits...things that make you go hummmm.
