MacBook Pro won’t charge, cable, power adapter, typec inlet working fine.

Hello, I’ve got MacBook Pro 2020. It is not charging. I’ve checked cable it’s charging phones. I’ve checked power adapter it’s charging phones. I’ve checked type C inlet it worked with mouse. I’ve tried smc reset didn’t help. Update says available, coldnt update because power adapter not charging. Yesterday night battery power went to 0, in the morning it charged 20 minutes. All of a sudden stopped charging. No physical damage at all . Please help to return my MacBook into working condition

I did smc reboot the next night and turned on my Mac successfully. It works fine now. I installed Monterey as soon as I got my machine working.

I have the same model and the same issue. The charger works with my ipad, but when I try to charge the macbook nothing happens. I usually use my macbook with the charger attached and it just stopped charging this morning. My macbook is now empty and not turning on anymore.

Reading this I am now afraid to update to Monterey 12.1 I also have a 2020 MacBook Pro and need to be able to charge it. Big Sur is working fine. Is this issue widespread?
