Spark amp and garageband

I have an ipad pro 2021 and a spark amp as an audio interface for recording in garageband. When I connect the spark amp to the ipad it doesn't recognise it as an external device so when I record on garageband it only records the dry guitar through the microphone on the ipad. I'm using apple cables so the connection is right I'm just not sure if the newer ipad pros are compatible with the spark amp??
