why i cannot open apps

Do you get any messages? I suggest that you confirm that this app is compatible with your current operating system. Below th Apple logo, click on About This Computer. That will open a window that displays what operating system is installed. Write it down and check the Banished web site to confirm that the app works with your OS version. Otherwise, see if they have one that does work.
