Open the App Store, tap on icon in the upper right, then My Purchases/Not on this phone and tap on the apps that you want to restore.

Awesome. If the app IS on my phone, this step of selecting "Not on this phone" isn't intuitive. But it IS an option to try, if I'd thought of trying it. Thanks, Lawrence!
