Xquartz doesn't work

Hi everyone!

I have a Mac with macOS Monterey version 12.1. I have installed Xquartz, all is ok with the installation, I log out and log in to put xquartz as x11 server by default and when I try to open xquartz it close by itself and nothing happen.

Could any one help me, please?

Thanks in advance.

Yea, I'm a bash user. I have things at work that require bash scripts, so it is easier for me to have a consistent shell environment across all the Linux, Solaris, AIX systems I work on.

If you are going to stay on bash, then add the following to your .bash_profile

export BASH_SILENCE_DEPRECATION_WARNING=1

This will keep macOS from whining at you to switch to zsh.

Also consider getting a newer bash version using Homebrew https://brew.sh

brew install bash

You may then need to arrange to launch the Homebrew version.
