How to trade in my iPhone?
I now have to return my old phone to Apple for a credit.

Did you specify at the time of order you were trading your iPhone in to Apple? If yes, the trade in kit arrives a few days after you receive and set up your new iPhone. If the trade kit doesn't come soon, contact Apple directly for guidance. You can use the Get Support at the top of this page or if in the US call Apple at 800-MY-APPLE.
That said, if you have an Apple Store near you, you can take the phone to your closest Apple Store and complete the trade in the store and get your credit immediately.
