Turn off Auto HDR on iphone 13 pro max

I just bought the new iPhone 13 pro max. I cannot figure out how to turn off the auto smart HDR on my camera. All of the photos I take look overly sharpened and unrealistic. There is no toggle in camera settings to turn off 'Smart HDR' like there used to be. PLEASE HELP!

Smart HDR is missing on Iphone 13 In Camera settings there is no Smart HDR option nor Auto HDR in iphone 13. I am sure it was available on previous iphone models. Because of that it seems like we cannot have a HDR toggle for photos. It is available for video only but what about the pictures??

How to fixed the smart HDR issue on iphone13? Why can’t turn off the smart HDR on iPhone13? The photo look so terrible and especially when zoom in. The different between when look at screen on camera is very good but the result of the photo in gallery are so bad. The photo are very contrast and sharpen and make the photo look so terrible and fake. Hope Apple will fixed the iOS for this issue asap!

Smart HDR cannot be turned off on iPhone 13. When I went to the camera settings to turn off Smart HDR, I realized that there was no such setting. This is really annoying and I want this setting to come back. Image processing applied in captured photos failed. I experimented with the iPhone 11 to see if there was a difference, and when I turned on Smart HDR, image processing came into play in the photo taken, increased the sharpness of the image and the color accuracy was wrong; when I turned off the setting, recorded as the image looks. In short, although Apple thinks it works properly, image processing or HDR, I don't know exactly what the problem is, but the Smart HDR setting for the iPhone 13 should come back. No one has been interested in this for more than 1 year and I couldn't figure out how to solve it. This is sad.

There does not seem to be a method to turn HDR off for photos. The only switch available is for HDR video. You can provide feedback to Apple here, Product Feedback - Apple

I've provided the feedback. But don't you think that's a bit of a huge thing to miss out. My every photo look overly sharpened.
