CBS live stream error message through the Paramount+ app accessed through Apple+ on Vizio smart tv

The last three days we keep getting the following error message on the CBS live stream link:

Channel Not Available This channel isn't available to watch in the country or region you're currently in.

We subscribe for Paramount+ through the Apple+ app. We have unplugged the tv, factory reset the tv, contacted our internet provider and Paramount+ support. Paramount+ support couldn't find our account to assist as we are subscribed through the Apple+ subscription.

Iphone over airplay stating the stream live isn't formatted for my tv. We are not able to access the CBS live stream in order to watch local news.

Are there any fixes for this?

The Paramount+ tv channel seems to work best for VOD content. For some of the live content, it might work better or have more options in the separate Paramount+ app. Fortunately, Paramount+ allows tv channel subscribers to create a complimentary Paramount+ account for use outside the Apple TV app (as well), by “verifying” the subscription.
