Text selection
I have white text on blue background, when I select text, I can hardly see what has been selected. Can I change the select colour or at least improve the contrast?

Hello Uwe1946,
Thanks for reaching out in Apple Support Communities, and we’d love to help with changing text color.
Have you seen the article Pages User Guide for iPad – Change the look of text in Pages? It goes over several ways to change the text color.
If you still need help, just reach back out, and let us know what happened when you tried the suggestions found in the article.
Take care!
Uwe is correct. The default color scheme for the whole software set is pages orange. The highlights are orange as well. While this does make it a more cohesive product, I find it highly problematic that I can't change it. At least I haven't been able to in the time I have searched. The highlight color is especially problematic. I would like to know how to change this and the orange buttons on the software as well. Thank you.
Hi, thank you for your reply. I do not have a problem changing text colour nor text or cell back colour. My problem is when I select a text, the shading showing what you have selected is a neutral colour and in my spreadsheet colour scheme it does not show up very well. I could change my colour scheme, but that would be awkward as I have used colours to indicate certain features. I thought it would be more practical to allocate a Filter colour to the select option. I believe the Mac version does support a similar feature. Once again many thanks for your reply. Regards Uwe
