How to correct Apple ID zip code

Try signing into appleid.apple.com.
Then click Payment methods.
Then make sure your zip code is correct under your Billing Address and your Shipping Address.

Echo. I think calling Apple tech support is the only way to correct the zip, which I find weird since I didn't give the false zip to Apple ID in the first place.
A significant time waster. :(
Could not find anything under Apple ID to change zip code. Perhaps you could explain where to look, in Apple ID, for those of us who are fairly new.
