why is my iPhone icon in iTunes just generic?

Last iPhone (XS Max) I had - my iTunes icon of the device when connected was beautiful, in colors, with little apps installed on the display showing... etc., just like my real iPhone , now new iPhone (12 Pro Max) and iTunes show just generic phone icon when connected, with the name of the device that I dubbed it...

Anyone?

Hello ivo5poena,

We understand that you have questions about the device icon showing in iTunes, and we'd like to check into this with you.

To help us get a better understanding of the issue, we’d like to ask a few questions.

  1. Has this always occurred with your iPhone 12 Pro Max? Were any changes made to your computer or iTunes before this occurred?
  2. Which version of iTunes is your Windows PC running? Here's how to make sure you have the latest version: Update to the latest version of iTunes

You can find some good information about the icons used in iTunes on PC here: Symbols used in iTunes on PC

Thanks!
