Unable to print from HP ENVY 7800 after update to MacOS 12.1

Since updating to OS 12.1, unable to print wirelessly to our HP ENVY 7800 all-in-one printer.

HP support site says to download and install HP Smart.

Attempt to open HP Smart and get the following: (a lot of lines):

Any hints on correcting this? I feel that HP may need an update to their firmware

Boot to Safe Mode. That boot up takes minutes and clears caches and other things that may resolve your problem.

Then open HP Smart
