Change apple id from mobile number to email id

You can see if the article Change your Apple ID - Apple Support lets you do this but you may also wish to read the article Use your mobile phone number as your Apple ID - Apple Support The second article talks about changing an email addresss ID to a mobile ID, and changing a mobile ID to a mobile ID, but does not mention changing a mobile ID to an email ID. If you encounter problems, I suggest asking Apple if this is possible (and please post back here if it is).
