BT mouse and keyboard keep disconnecting randomly

my BT mouse and keyboard keep disconnecting randomly. I have a brand new MacBook PRO. When I go into settings, it says it can't find the mouse or keyboard. Both are fully charged. Restarting solves the problem but I can't do this multiple time a day. Any ideas how to fix this?

External keyboard and mouse issue I have an Apple keyboard (full size, USB) and a Logitech mouse I connect to my MacBook Pro. Every now and then, either the mouse or the keyboard will just stop working. I unplug for a while, and sometimes this works. Right now, the keyboard is not responding even though it's been unplugged for an hour or so. I prefer the functionality of the full keyboard, especially the more spread-out design (don't really like the laptop keyboard; too cramped-in) as well as the external mouse. Any ideas on why this issue keeps happening? Thanks, CM
