I got a replacement iPhone from Asurion and after setting it up, I saw that there was no section for parts and service history, indicating that the iPhone hadn't ever been repaired. But I was wondering if I was wrong and this clears when you reset the iPhone. Can someone help me with this?

iPhones can be refurbished by Apple or by Apple-authorized refurbishers. “Anyone” can’t refurbish an iPhone because only the official refurbishers have access to the needed parts and tools. That doesn’t mean that aren’t unauthorized refurbishers, but those are more correctly called “counterfeiters”

They can’t clear the history on Apple’s servers, but, as they can make up a new SN, the new one won’t have a history.
No, the serial number is not on the screen, it is hard wired into the logic board.
It does not clear when you reset the phone, but it is cleared when a phone is refurbished.
So anyone could refurbish it and have it clear or is that just for apple refurbished phones

Oh I understand and since you have to reprogram the new screen with the serial number that’s why my old phones repair history didn’t clear so I think my phone is new then
Oh alright I’ll just take their word for it since they said it was a new phone and it doesn’t really worry me that much
