Find my iPhone

I’m trying to help a friend find her iPhone but when she signs on to iCloud on my phone it asks for identification that was sent to her phone. She doesn’t have her phone. That’s why she’s using my phone to find her phone.

Have your Friend Contact Apple Support:

Your friend needs to contact Apple Support. Ask them for assistance with this. See if they can add a computer to her computer so that she can get a Two -Factor Authentication code sent to it. Also, I'd recommend not sharing your phone with someone else's Apple Account. Doing so, they would have it associated to their account --something to avoid all together. That is what she needs to associate a different device to her account, and approve of it to get the Two-Factor Authentication code.

Apple Contact Info:

Why the Wait:

Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)
