I assume they won't fix this. I keep my phone in my pocket and I never put it next to keys, coins etc. I now have a pretty decent scratch, which is very disappointing as they marketed these phones as being more scratch resistant with the Ceramic Shield. Which is obviously useless.

Most of the other user advisers on here recommend a tempered glass screen protector and a good (MagSafe) case.
They are not scratch proof and not waterproof.
I doubt if a scratch would even be covered under AppleCare+
Most likely not as it would be classified as cometic damage. AppleCare+ covers damage claims, but I also doubt if they would classify a cosmetic scratch as damage compared to dropping it.
Just noticed a scratch on my new iPhone 13 Mini. Is this covered under Apple Care warranty
