Unsubscribed myself from my own shared album

I created and owned shared album. I was trying to figure out how others’ invites showed up by adding myself. I then removed my invite because I didn’t think I needed it …. Because I’m the owner… however now I can’t see it. I have no access. The album is still there; the other people it’s shared with can still see it. But I have no access. Again the others with access can still see that I’m the owner & none have the ability to add me back.

Hi! Crisis Averted!

while I’d like to claim I know exactly what I did I can’t. But it is fixed and the following is how I suspect the fix occurred:

Basically it’s the Old IT unplug reply.

Closed out photos completely.

Went to Settings>Photos>unmarked (toggle off) Shared Albums, closed settings out completely.

Back into Settings etc, remarked Shared Albums. Close out completely.

As I was a bit frantic I opened photos immediately closing out completely one more time.

Then went to photos & actually checked Shared Albums. Lost album was magically back.

Now full disclosure there were probably a million frantic other things that I searched, ppl I recruited to help, and distractions in between each of these steps. But I know that didn’t toggle or click other settings and no one else was able to do anything with the shared album itself. With that in mind, the described steps are the only thing I actually *did* before the shared album reappeared.
