Hi guys I need a help, i lost my phone and am facing some difficulties in finding it’s location since I used to register my phone with gmail account as an Apple ID..but in the process of looking it they brought to me Apple ID which includes .icloud.com at the end ,again once I tried to forget my Apple ID (gmai account) in order to get the right one the results remain the same they bring my gmail account as my Apple ID. No bro , I have no other email address for a Apple ID apart from this gmail account which iam using even to sign in in Apple support communities as an Apple ID , but the surprisingly when i wrote the same name of my gmail account with ending with @icloud .com my password denies But when iam trying to do forget password this ID (with @icloud.com) it commands me to enter my phone number..as the photo below shows. (Trouble in last photo i don’t know what to do next)
The issue is.. my Apple ID is in a form of gmail account completely.. so once I enter this gmail account as an Apple ID and its password (in find my phone app) it denied to locate where the phone is...it wrote incorrect password or ID but with the same gmail account a can log in in discussion.apple.com like this and other area even I can manage na account with the same gmail account as Apple ID
It sounds like the gmail account you can use isn't the account on the lost phone since you are getting error messages when you try to sign into Find My Phone. Do you have/use any other email addresses for an Apple ID?
Why are you adding the @iCloud.com to the end of the gmail address? The gmail address should be a stand alone email address.
