UK phone EU sim

Hello,

I would like to buy a phone for my friend.

Im buying it from UK but it will be used in EU.

Will that work? Will EU sim be accepted, UK iPhone won't be blocked/locked?

You would need to ask your friend wether his iPhone is locked to his network provider or not. There's no way for us to tell you that.

There is nothing that says UK phones won't be blocked. If bought from places like CarPhone Warehouse, they are normally locked to UK carriers. If bought directly from Apple, they normally are not locked.
