Can I schedule delivery of my Apple Gift card?

Does the Apple gift card purchase process allow me to schedule a date for delivery of the gift card by email?

This is not a current option as gift cards are usually delivered within an hour of purchase. Check out Gift apps, music, movies, and more from Apple for most other gift card questions.
