I can't move a video from photos to desktop
This worked before - just drag and drop. Now I get an error

Can you play the video in Photos? If so try exporting the unmodified original to the Desktop.
Was the update for 12.2?
Boot into Safe Mode according to How to use safe mode on your Mac and test to see if the problem persists. Reboot normally and test again.

More on this it says the .mov file is not compatible with quicktime. I did have an update from apple yesterday, I topped a similar video a few days ago and had no problems dragging it from photos onto the desktop. Now I can't. Thanks for any help. I'm trying to make a family video.
Thank you so much. I just couldn't find the answer. It never occurred to me the format was different in Photos. You helped save my Christmas family video. Now I just have to figure out how to arrange them in the folder. (None of the standard options to sort work.) As you can tell I am pretty new at this stuff.
