forgot guided access password

If you forgot your iPad passcode

Take a look at, 'Use Guided Access with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.' This article gives guidance on using the passcode or Face ID / Touch ID to end the session. Do you know if you have Face ID or Touch ID enabled for use with Guided Access?

If not, you may be able to end the guided access session by force restarting your iPhone. This should allow you to use your normal device unlock methods to regain normal access.
