Iphone 13 charger for car

Hi,

I have recently brought a iPhone 13 and was just wondering if you can use the normal lighting charging cable to charge the phone and to use in the car to charge it and use it for CarPlay or do you need to purchase another cable that has the lighting cable but is compatible with the iPhone 13. I'm charging the phone with the cord that it came with in the box.
