ok so i messed up with due boot and i would like to start from scratch but i dont know how to reset a mac book running windows

You will need to remove the Bootcamp Partition along with the Windows OS. Review this excellent guide published by Apple ➔ How to Remove Windows from your Mac by using Boot Camp.
