Use phone outside usa. Unlocking phone

Bought IPhone 13 today. Leaving USA tomorrow. How do I change SIM card while I’m out of the country? Will Apple unlock so I can use different SIM card?

No, you will have to ask your cell carrier to unlock the phone.
