Hi Mr_River,

Welcome too the Apple Community.

Re: cannot open Snapchat

You may need to check on snapchat. com ...

Eg: did you download the correct app for compatibility with your device ?

and / or

How to open / use the app may be explained there.

Re: cannot use FaceTime

Try these article from Apple support:

"Set up FaceTime on iPhone":

https://support.apple.com/en-au/guide/iphone/iphc4774d8d8/ios

"Use FaceTime with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch"

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204380

or / and, if needed:

"If you can't make a FaceTime call on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch"

https://support.apple.com/en-au/HT204168

Re: phone won’t let me use my camera in calls

This article:

"Control access to hardware features on iPhone"

says:

"Before apps use the camera or microphone on your iPhone,

they’re required to request your permission and explain why they’re asking."

See:

" Review or change access to the camera, microphone, and other hardware features "

https://support.apple.com/en-au/guide/iphone/iph168c4bbd5/15.0/ios/15.0

Hope this helps put you in control :-)
