Within the Reminders application, I can group my lists and lists I share with others. But for some reason I'm unable to group lists shared by other people.
I want to say this is an oversight but feels deliberate.
It happens in both iOS and macOS. Am I missing something, like a setting or anything, so that shared lists by others can be grouped?

It sounds like you're able to group your reminders, but are unable to share those groups. We can help.
While you are able to group reminders, and share reminders, there isn't currently an option to group shared reminders. You can definitely share your thoughts on this feature by leaving Product Feedback.

Yeah, after making this post and further searching around I came to the conclusion it was on purpose and so I went ahead and made a suggestion ticket in the feedback assistant.
Hopefully it is considered, really would like to organize the lists a little better. Not the end of the world but nice to be organized a bit.
