Phone locked in emergency call status
My phone is locked after accidentally hitting emergency contact. How do I unlock.

The article that you came from, Use Emergency SOS on your iPhone, has information about how the Emergency SOS feature works.
From your post it appears that this was activated, and the phone has not returned to normal.
If you tap the status bar, do you have the option to "Stop Sharing Emergency Location."? If you do, tap that.
If you are still having an issue, power cycle the iPhone using these instructions: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support. While simple, this can refresh the iOS, apps and connections.
