Nothing was solved it only made me angrier that your company steals money from you users. No wonder I will never purchase any more apple products. This was a gift and I promise I will never purchase another item from you.

I have put money on my Apple account, from the card I had to have just to get started in the App Store and now have added another bank card. So cash and two other payment methods and still can’t make any in-app purchases, and no error code. Just oops something went wrong, please try again later! This is the second Suppot site I’ve been to and guess what!!! Still oops something went wrong! I have several Apple products and have been using Apple products for years. I think I might be questioning my judgment now??

Unfortunately you don't provide us with any information such as error messages which would help us tell you why.

Apple says: "Some purchases might require that you have a credit card on file, even if you use your Apple ID balance to make the purchase." - from: What you can buy with your Apple ID balance --> https://support.apple.com/HT211187

For a variety of reasons Apple will almost always require a functional payment method such as a credit or debit card be present when downloading anything from the iTunes or App Stores that isn't totally free (so, for example, a "free trial" that turns into a paid subscription isn't ' free'), even if the item will be paid for with Apple Account balance. The only solution to satisfy this requirement is to add a valid payment method*.

I have slot apps downloaded on my Ipad, however it asks me to give the card number for my account balance. However, after making sure my gift cards are on my account I do not keep them. I assume that money added to my account I should not need to keep the cards. What good is the money I put on there if I can't use it. If it cannot be used to purchase in app coins or items inside my apps then I want the money refunded to me.

Your account balance does not have a card number. What you are talking about does not hang together. If you have account balance and a payment method such as a credit card, you will --in most cases-- be able to have your Apple Account balance be charged first. You cannot tell it to do it that way, nor will Apple let you "buy" anything based on account balance alone. Your credit/debit card has to be there even if it won't use it.

Why can’t I use my apple account balance to purchase things in any of the apps I have purchased.
