I was downloading an app VPN from appstore and it had a 7 day free trial after which i would be charged. I updated all payment details but despite all attempts, could not download the app completely. I subsequently deleted it from my phone.

Will my payment get debited after a week now - even though i am not using the app and have deleted it?

How can i delete the payment details I had given?

The question is not whether you are using it or not, if you have subscribed for it then it will get debited till you cancel the subscription.

App Purchase
1. Curious about a Charge? --> If you see an 'itunes.com/bill' or an unfamiliar charge on your statement
2. If you have an issue with an app on App Store or billing --> Request a refund for an App Store or iTunes Store
App Subscriptions
1. You may view a subscription to an app --> See or cancel your subscriptions - Apple Support
2. You can also request a refund for a recent renewal of an in-app subscription purchase
