My camera is shaking so I cannot scan QR codes. I have just read an article regarding motorcycles damaging the gyroscope and I just did 1000km with it on my bars. Is this a fix I can do myself or does it need to be repaired? Thanks

Not usually the gyro, it destroys the camera and the OIS system. Tiny motors to focus tiny lenses.
As far as Apple is concerned you need a replacement phone under the "Other Damage" section of this article.
