How to read the results of a QR scan taken on my phone?

The procedure is to not take a photo. You open the Camera app and view the QR code through the Camera and on your screen. The information will be displayed on your screen in Yellow. Normally it will display a website address that you can tap on and the website will be displayed on your browser with the information in the QR Code.

You do not need to take a photo. You just need to frame the QR code and you should be able to see the URL (obviously being able to click on this link to open that URL).
