Scrolling issues since update to IOS15

Scrolling in an email and performing copy/paste by dragging the blue dot has become problematic since updating to IOS15.

Simply scrolling thru a message, the phone loses its place and moves to another area of the message.

Further, when attempting to copy a portion of a message by grabbing and dragging the blue dot, if the portion is long, the dragging down action will reverse and start going back up the screen.

Both actions above are repeatable.

iPhone8 256GB memory, iOS 15.2

I think I've resolved the scrolling issue by resetting and restoring the phone.

The copy (by grabbing and pulling down the blue dot) still doesn't work if I have more than 3-4 pages of text to copy.

Doesn't reverse and start going back up the screen anymore, but does just stop (allowing me to drag) after 3-4 pages. Can't release and start dragging again.
