how to fix airdrop on MacOS 12.1 and Notification Panel duplication for iPhone iOS 15.1.1

Will write two questions and here are the followings:

  1. After updating to MacOS 12.1, I noticed that the airdrop has been insanely unresponsive. For example: Before upgrading to MacOS 12.1 I was on MacOS 11.0 version(s), I am using MacBook Air, I would close my laptop so it'd sleep. Whenever I wake up, if I want to share some pictures, videos, whatever to my iPhone, the airdrop have been fine between iPhone, iPad, and the MacBook Air. So now with upgrading to Monterrey, it's like if I close my laptop to sleep, then after awhile I want to wake it up and do some edited that I saved from my iPhone, but the airdrop for some reasons have been sooooo unresponsive. Does anyone know how to fix this? Any solutions?
  2. Now for the iPhone and iPad, I noticed that let's say if I choose to play Apple Music on my iPhone, stream it to my HomePods, for whatever reasons, it also appears on my iPad, like it copies off of my iPhone, I find this really strange. It has never happened before iOS 15. I mean, let's say I have always used my iPad to use HomePods, so that way my iPad would have the sole control of it. Now, I have two iPads and an iPhone, so if I start on one, it'll start on all. Like this weird another odd thing is whenever I start Steelseries Nimbus+ to play games on my iPad, it automatically switch to gaming mode, then both my iPhone and iPad were also switched to gaming mode. Duplication... how do I stop this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you!

If you have Contacts Only turned On then please add Apple ID of the sending device to your list of contacts on the receiving device. See the pic at the bottom of this post for better clarity

Before you begin

  • Make sure that the person you're sending to is nearby and within Bluetooth and Wi-Fi range.
  • Check that you and the person you're sending to, have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth turned on. If either of you, have Personal Hotspot on, turn it off.
  • Check if the person you're sending to has their AirDrop set to receive from Contacts Only. If they do, and you’re in their Contacts, they need to have your email address or mobile number in your contact card for AirDrop to work.
  • If you're not in their Contacts, have them set their AirDrop receiving setting to Everyone in order to receive the file.

You can put your AirDrop receiving setting to Contacts Only or Receiving Off at any time to control who can see your device and send you content in AirDrop.
