iTunes download unknown error occurred (0x80090302)

I am getting an iTunes error: “…An unknown error occurred (0x80090302)” when downloading certain podcasts. This started happening in mid-November and does not affect all podcasts. But it consistently hits the same ones. I'm on the most current version of iTunes, running on Windows.

Hi Tom_NH,

We see when attempting to download specific podcasts, you receive an error.

We'd recommend you take a moment to uninstall and then reinstall iTunes on your PC.

Remove and reinstall iTunes and related software components for Windows 7 and later

Take note of the order of uninstall for the various related components. After that, reinstall iTunes form the Microsoft Store, and test the issue again.
