I recently received the latest version of the MacBook Pro. I noticed that it does not have a port to insert an SD Card or for an HDMI cord. It was not bought from Apple and I am concerned and not sure why mine came without these ports? Especially because on the Apple website they all show that the MacBooks have these ports, even the latest versions.

While this does one (https://eshop.macsales.com/shop/owc-usb-c-travel-dock) from a trusted Mac-compatible seller does not expand the graphics capability (more 4k displays, etc) it works fine on my 2019 model. It adds one more external display, SD, HDMI, 2 USBs and passes-through 100W of power to help charge the system.
Just one option.
What model/year is it?
