I no longer able to detect my TV from screen mirror on my iOS 15 iPhone 12 pro. I have an old Apple TV on a Samsung. It worked with no issues until I recently subscribed to Apple TV+ . I’ve restarted everything multiple times. I checked settings on the Apple TV device as well as on my iPhone. Help!

Under same About tab it does says after Activation Failed.
Okay. If you fix that, then AirPlay functionality may come back too.

Whoops! My bad. Model A1469 so 3rd gen. Software version 7.8 (8158). Under same About tab it does says after Activation Failed. Software is up to date.

Now I am confused. Apple TV+ requires Apple TV (3rd generation or later), so how can that be if yours is 2nd generation?
What is its version system software? Can you check that?
Indeed I have Apple TV 2nd gen. Airplay/Screen mirroring worked fine before I began using Apple TV+ service which is working on the Apple TV device. I want to play something from my phone on the device so I am attempting to screen mirror or Airplay.
I use MacBook Pro. Plugged in ATV device and it restored and updated. Activation still shows Failed. 3utools in discussion is only for pc. Don’t know about Configurator
