My Apple Watch won’t perform update. My iPhone is sitting next to my watch, which is on it's charger and it won’t verify update. It says that I’m not connected to internet.

Try to update your Apple Watch directly instead of using your iPhone. On your Watch, open Settings > General > Software Update and follow the directions.
