Can I have multiple on and off times on lights?

I want to turn lights on automatically a couple hours in the morning and a few hours in the evening.

There is no "add automation." So what is the correct answer to how to schedule lights? I added an outlet to my Apple HOme. I would like the light to turn on at specific times. I can't see any way to do that. The Apple help page gives instructions but they include a step that is just not there in the app, so what is the actual way to do it?

Setting up a light timer The only option for turning off lights is by a number of minutes or a maximum of 4 hours. How do I turn my lights off at a specific time?

That should be possible. See Create scenes and automations with the Home app - Apple Support, and in particular the section Automate accessories at a certain time.
