Hi, PAPACERT, maybe i can help you… default email for Mac’s is IMAP and not POP/POP3. Here’s how to get that set up: (link)

https://help.aol.com/articles/download-your-email-from-aol-mail-with-imap

with Mac mail, you’d set it up as “AOL” then follow the instructions in the above link….

Your comment activates some questions. Did this just occur? Was anything changed or added prior to this occurring? I am going to assume that you have access to the internet and can send emails. Is that correct? Since the problem occurs on both devices, I am going to assume that the problem lies at the AOL end. I would begin by contacting them and asking for their assistance.
