Apple trade in using Apple Card Monthly installments

Hi Everyone! I recently traded in my iPhone 12 Pro Max for an IPhone 13 pro max. The 12 was bought using Apple Card monthly installments, and the 13 was bought like that as well. Do I have to continue paying for the 12 after I’ve turned it it?

the longer answer is that since you got credit for the 12 and it applied to the 13 you are still on the hook for the 12 but the 13 is now reduced.
