512GB is your device Storage.

5GB is iCloud storage and that is what one gets by default for every Apple ID that you create.

There is a difference between iPhone Storage and iCloud Storage.

iCloud Storage (Settings > [Tap your name] > iCloud)

  1. By default, every user gets 5GB of free storage space
  2. You can buy more storage based on your requirement of 50, 200GB, 2TB with a monthly subscription
  3. Based on your storage capacity you can back up iPhone or iPad
  4. Space can be shared between your family members for a storage plan beyond 200GB

B. Clean TV and Music Libraries:

Remove all unneeded files from your TV and Music Libraries. Full-Movies take up 2-4GB typically, and a bunch of those would take up a load of storage, ideally. So, if you have any movies that are not needed, then delete them.
