Can I store notes by newest date without changing my main folder location?

I use the note feature to track my shop visits to different shops daily. I have the folders for each shop on the left in alphabetic order which works great. I pin my current day notes. When i go to transfer my daily note into my shop folder, i have to scroll past all the other entries, they are stored by date. Can i store them by newest date first without changing my main folder location?

Hi Benny6910,

Welcome to the Apple Community

Apple Support has an article online:

"Search and organize your notes in folders on iPad"

Says:

"Change the sort order of a folder:

Tap, tap “Sort by,”

then choose Date Edited, Date Created, or Title.

To choose a default sorting method for all your folders,

go to Settings  > Notes > Sort Notes By.

The Complete article: https://support.apple.com/en-au/guide/ipad/ipadc44c8c4a/ipados

Hope this works for you :-)
