If yes, unfortunately your Mac might need to be serviced. If it has an Intel processor (not M1), you can also try resetting the System Management Controller.

To fix this, connect your charging cable to your MacBook Air, and then try to start up again. Keep the cable connected until at least 20% of the battery is charged.
