New SIM card

Was I suppose to get a new SIM card? I upgraded from a IPhone X to an Iphone 13 Pro. When I unboxed my new phone (ordered directly from Apple) there was no SIM card anywhere in the box so I just assumed to use the one I have been using. However now on my new phone it says I have no service even though the SIM card is inserted.

Contact your wireless provider for assistance.

Your sim may be tied to the IMEI of the old iPhone.

Your wireless provider may also be able to remotely

activate the eSim in your iPhone 13 Pro and save you

a trip to their store.
